DCE Welcomes Street Janitors To The Bolgatanga East District

The Bolgatanga East District Chief Executive, Hon. Jacob Abugre Aka-eri, extended a warm welcome to the Street Janitors, a voluntary service group dedicated to keeping the environment clean and safe. This group of young men and women selflessly devote their Saturday mornings to cleaning and clearing choked gutters, showcasing their passion for community development.

During the interaction, the DCE expressed heartfelt appreciation for the Street Janitors' initiative, recognising the significance of their efforts in maintaining community safety and health. He emphasised the importance of their role in promoting a clean environment and assured them of his full support, encouraging them to continue their patriotic endeavours. 

 To demonstrate his commitment to community development initiatives, the DCE provided financial support of three thousand Ghana Cedis( Gh3000) to the group.

The Street Janitors were overwhelmed with gratitude for the DCE's kind words and gesture, appreciating his support and encouragement. This gesture not only motivates the group to continue their good work but also fosters a sense of community and cooperation.

As the District Chief Executive, Hon. Jacob Abugre Aka-eri has consistently demonstrated his commitment to community development and collaboration with local groups. This initiative aligns with his pledge to drive the development agenda of President John Dramani Mahama within the Bolgatanga East District across all sectors.
