The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Dr. Richard Asiedu, has made major strides by wooing major investment from Japan to Ghana's steel and iron industry.
Dr. Ricard Asiedu who is also the board chairman of Ghana Integrated Steel and Iron Development Corporation, is part His Excellency John Dramani Mahama's delegation to the 2025 TICAD Conference in Japan.
On the sidelines of the 2025 TICAD Conference in Yokohama, Dr. Richard Asiedu has gotten a major Japanese Iron and Steel investor named ITOCHU CORPORATION to invest in the Iron and Steel Industry in Ghana.
The potential dividends of such an investment bodes well for the economy, especially as, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama calibrates the country into a 24hour economic shift system.
This is a significant step for job creation for our teeming Ghanaian youths, and especially for those of us in the Central Region.
