Yesterday, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) Cape Coast Metro, led by Hon. Paul Nat Amissah, Assembly Member for Brabedze/Nyinasin Electoral Area, conducted a working visit to assess the area's challenges.
Key issues identified included a dysfunctional drainage system, inadequate lighting, and an abandoned well that poses health risks.
The community's reliance on this unhygienic water source has been halted due to safety concerns.
Additionally, an exposed Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) pipeline was observed, requiring attention to prevent potential hazards.
These findings will inform interventions to address these challenges and improve living conditions in the area.
