The Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, joined members of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) at the Cape Coast Technical University for their General Meeting, held under the theme “The Youth and the 24-Hour Economy – TEIN’s Role in Nation Building.”
In his address, Hon. Arthur commended the youth for their vibrancy, creativity, and commitment to national development. He emphasized that the success of Ghana’s 24-hour economy vision will depend greatly on the active involvement of young people, particularly in areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven solutions.
The Mayor further encouraged students to position themselves as key drivers of change by acquiring relevant skills, embracing discipline, and demonstrating leadership in every sphere of life. He assured participants of the Assembly’s readiness to support initiatives that harness youth potential for sustainable growth and development.
The interactive session created a platform for dialogue, where students engaged the Mayor on critical issues affecting young people and shared perspectives on how TEIN can contribute meaningfully to building a resilient economy for all.
