On Saturday, after the successful Metro-wide Clean-Up Exercise, Hon. George Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, Member of Parliament for Cape Coast South, Deputy Majority Leader, and Board Chairman of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), demonstrated his commitment to the growth and safety of our city by donating 100 brand-new streetlights to the Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, for the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly.
This timely and impactful gesture will go a long way in lighting up communities, improving security, and ensuring safer movement for residents during night hours. It also reflects a strong partnership between leadership and community in driving sustainable development for Cape Coast.
In addition, Hon. Ricketts-Hagan pledged to deliver another 100 streetlights within the week, making a total of 200 streetlights dedicated to illuminating the Metropolis. His intervention reinforces the collective vision of building a city that is not only cleaner but also safer, brighter, and more welcoming for all.
