The Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, and the Member of Parliament for Cape Coast South, Hon. George Kweku Ricketts-Hagan — who also serves as Deputy Majority Leader and Board Chairman of the Ghana Revenue Authority — joined hands to champion the Metro-wide Clean-Up Exercise.
Together, they toured communities such as Bakaano, Ekon, Aquarium, Ayikoayiko, Gyegyeano, London Bridge, and Antem, encouraging residents who rolled up their sleeves to make Cape Coast cleaner and healthier. They also took time to inspect the ongoing construction works at the London Bridge Gutter, a key intervention to improve drainage and sanitation.
In a remarkable show of support, Hon. Ricketts-Hagan later donated 100 brand-new streetlights to the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly. This timely gesture will help light up the Metropolis, improve security, and ensure safer movement for residents at night.
Together, we are building a Cleaner, Safer, and Brighter Cape Coast.
