On Saturday, 9th August 2025, Winneba witnessed a significant and uplifting milestone with the successful launch of a bold initiative aimed at tackling sanitation challenges in our beloved community.
The Effutu Captain Planet’s Clean-Up Exercise brought together a passionate group of volunteers, dedicated youth, and civic-minded individuals—all united by a shared vision of a cleaner, healthier environment.
This event was not only vibrant and inspiring but also impactful, setting a strong precedent for community-driven environmental action.
The energy, collaboration, and commitment demonstrated were truly commendable, and I extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this initiative a resounding success.
While this marks a great beginning, we acknowledge that the journey toward lasting change is ongoing.
