On Monday, 11th August 2025, the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly proudly inaugurated the Landing Beaches Committee on Premix at the Assembly Hall.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. John Quayson, popularly known as Manoma, the Presidential Aide attached to the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture.
He was joined by the Metropolitan Chief Executive of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, and a distinguished member of the National Premix Committee, Hon. James Essuon.
The inauguration marks a significant step toward ensuring effective and transparent distribution of premix fuel to our hardworking fisherfolk, thereby promoting sustainable fishing practices and strengthening the local economy.
The Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly remains committed to supporting the fishing community and enhancing livelihoods through accountable governance and impactful partnerships.
