Central Region Council of state Member Hon Hakeem Addae, laid a wreath at the Jubilee Flower Gardens in honour of the fallen heroes.
In a solemn act of remembrance, Hon Hakeem Addae stated that the good people of central region deemed it a national duty to honour the eight men who laid down their lives in service of the nation.
Hon Hakeem said the laying of the wreath was a profound symbol of CR collective mourning and deepest solidarity with His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the government, the bereaved families, and the entire nation.
This gesture underscored CR recognition of the ultimate sacrifice made by the eight.
