Lady Apostle Sophia Tawiah, founder and head pastor of Holy Altar of Grace Chapel International, has called on prophets to prioritize prayer over seeking fame and publicity.
Following the tragic helicopter crash on August 6, 2025, that claimed eight lives, including Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and Environment Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Apostle Sophia questioned the authenticity of prophets who claim to have foreseen the tragedy.
She emphasized that true prophets should pray to prevent such calamities rather than sharing their prophecies on social media for personal gain.
Apostle Sophia urged prophets to take responsibility for praying over negative prophecies to turn them into positive outcomes.
She criticized prophets who prioritize fame and publicity over prayer, questioning whether they truly aim to serve God or seek self-aggrandizement.
Apostle Sophia also advised politicians not to forget God when in power, emphasizing that divine protection is essential for the nation.
I standby it what Lady Apsotle said. How can we be in a nation where God has gifted us prophets and prophetess to see ahead and they misuse it for fame then to serve the nation with it to make our nation Ghana a better place for all. The politicians also please serve our nation Ghana not your pocket.
