The circulating report seeks to paint a picture of a constituency drowning in chaos, but the facts simply do not support this sensational narrative. Awutu Senya East remains committed to unity, discipline, and institutional order—even as a few individuals attempt to weaponize misinformation for political advantage.
First, the alleged audio recording, though regrettable, reflects the personal conduct of an individual and not the values, instructions, or disposition of Chairman Stephen Ofosu Agyare. Any attempt to link the chairman to the isolated misconduct of one supporter is not only misleading but clearly intended to inflame internal tensions. The NDC has established disciplinary structures, and those structures have already been activated to address the issue.
Second, it is dangerous and irresponsible for the report to rely on unnamed “sources” in an effort to create the illusion of broader conflict. There is no official record of any sanctioned dispute between the MP, the MCE, and the constituency chairman. Matters that arose during and after the 2024 elections were resolved through proper party channels, with national leadership intervening where necessary. Peace was restored long ago.
Third, the insinuation that the chairman is “undermining” the MP simply because of speculative future ambitions is a distortion of democratic principles. Interest in internal contests is not sabotage, and twisting normal party democracy into allegations of division is both mischievous and intellectually dishonest.
Additionally, the deliberate emphasis on galamsey references, curses, and spiritual theatrics appears crafted to dramatize the situation rather than inform the public. The police are already handling the matter, and until their investigations conclude, responsible media reporting requires accuracy—not sensationalism.
Awutu Senya East NDC is far bigger than rumours, innuendo, and personal agendas. The constituency remains focused on governance, development, and strengthening party structures—not succumbing to manufactured narratives aimed at damaging reputations.
What the NDC needs is unity, maturity, and clarity—not media-driven attempts to create chaos where none exists.
Signed.
