Hon. Samuel Atta Mills sent a patient to Elmina Polyclinic for treatment . Upon reaching the facility, he was greeted by a cry of a mother whose son had been admitted and treated at the hospital for two weeks.
The woman who hails from Dutch Komenda, inability to settle a bill of 4,100Ghs for his son's treatment forced the hospital to detained the boy and the mother.
However, the cry of the mother met the magnanimity of Hon. Samuel Atta Mills. He generously settled the bill and ensured that the boy and his mother were discharged from the hospital.
Hon. Samel Atta Mills further reiterated his commitment to visit the family and ensure that the boy continues his education without any hindrances.
It is in deed true that the importance of leadership is to impact lives positively and inspire hope in people. Once again, Hon. Samuel Atta Mills has shown his deep sense of compassion for humanity and his quest to see to the well being of his constituents.
