Residents of Gyegyeano and Brofoyedur, two communities in the Cape Coast South Constituency, have long struggled with water shortages — a challenge that has persisted for decades.
In a bid to address this critical issue, Lawyer Charles Quansah, a native of the area, and his C-Quansah Foundation LBG, has donated two mechanized boreholes and two large polytanks to improve water access for residents. Having been born and raised in these communities, Lawyer Quansah said he felt a strong responsibility to give back to the society that shaped him.
Speaking during the donation, he emphasized that his broader goal is to support sustainable water supply solutions throughout the Cape Coast South Constituency, especially in communities facing persistent shortages.
The donation was warmly welcomed by Assembly Members for these two Electoral Areas, Opinion Leaders as well as community members, who expressed gratitude for the timely intervention and its potential to significantly improve their quality of life.
