The Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, paid a working visit to the Dans Pee area within the Ayikoayiko Electoral Area as part of efforts to improve local infrastructure and enhance community mobility.
The visit focused on assessing the current condition of the road linking Dans Pee to Tantri, which has long posed challenges to residents and commuters due to its poor state. The Mayor, accompanied by technical officers and community leaders, explored possible interventions to make the road more accessible and safe for public use.
Hon. Arthur emphasized that improving the road network in the area would not only ease movement for residents but also contribute to local economic activity and development. He assured the community of the Assembly’s commitment to addressing pressing infrastructure needs in a phased and sustainable manner.
The visit forms part of a broader initiative by the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly to identify and address key infrastructural gaps across the metropolis, ensuring equitable development in all communities.
