Yesterday 12th June 2025, our revered and venerable traditional ruler, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII paid a commiseration visit to the Leader of CR NDC Members of Parliament - Hon Mrs Queenstar Maame Pokua Sawyerr to offer his condolences on the demise of her supportive husband and pillar.
In a remarkable show of genuine support, the Paramount Chief of Abeadze Dominase, former Regional House of Chiefs President, former National House of Chiefs' Vice President, former ECG Board Chairman and Chairman of the Central Regional Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Change Adaptation Platform, who will be burying his beloved Sister next weekend, deemed it expedient to lead a delegation to visit Everybody's Maame Pokua and the family was really touched.
Daasebre assured the bereaved and her family of his unalloyed support for them in these difficult moments, prayers were offered, words of comfort shared and the Book of Condolences duly signed before departing back to Cape Coast.
Among his entourage were the MD of GLAHCO cum Regional Secretary - Hon Gabriel Nii Kommey Adams, the Regional Director of NADMO - Hon E.K.A. Dawood Mensah, Nananom from Abeadze, the hardworking Member of Parliament for the good people of Mfantseman- Hon Dr Prince Arhin, Deputy Regional Director of Operations- Hon Felix Abban @Hope for the Hopeless, a former Mfantseman Parliamentary Aspirant - Dr Michael Turkson, a former Cape Coast MCE aspirant- Cde Christian Tandoh and others.
The family once again informs all that July 25th, 2025 remains the date for the Burial & Final Funeral Rites of late Mr Bernard Olu Sawyerr, and the Christ the King Catholic Church - near the Jubilee House also remains the venue for the Burial Service. However, other details shall be communicated to all in due course.
As announced earlier, there will be No One Week Remembrance, but condolence visits or commiseration visits are welcomed by the family at their Abelemkpe residence.
