The family of the late Joseph Ade Coker paid a solemn courtesy call on the Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, earlier yesterday.
The purpose of the visit was to formally announce his passing and share initial plans for his final funeral rites.
The delegation was warmly received at the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly by the Honourable Chief Executive of Cape Coast.
Mayor George Justice Arthur extended a warm welcome to the family and conveyed the Assembly's heartfelt condolences.
He described the late Mr. Coker, former NDC Greater Accra Regional Chairman (2009-2022), as a dedicated political pillar whose legacy would be long remembered.
The Mayor reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to collaborating with the family to ensure a dignified and befitting farewell for the late Chairman Ade Coker.
