The Effutu Premix Committee has demonstrated its commitment to community development by donating cleaning tools and materials to the Effutu Municipal Assembly. This generous gesture comes in support of the ongoing clean-up initiatives aimed at enhancing sanitation and environmental health in Winneba.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Rev. John N. Atta Mensah, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the committee, not only for their timely donation but also for their active participation in a recent community clean-up exercise.
During the event, it became clear that there was a shortage of cleaning equipment, hindering the full effectiveness of the exercise. Heeding the MCE’s call for support, the Effutu Premix Committee promptly mobilized resources to procure additional cleaning materials — a commendable response that underscores the power of partnership and community spirit.
Among the items donated were spades, wheelbarrows, gloves, head pans, pickaxes, axes, knives, nose masks etc all of which will significantly boost the capacity of the Municipal Sanitation teams during future exercise.
“This is a step in the right direction,” Rev. Mensah noted. “When we join forces, we can achieve a cleaner, healthier Effutu for all.”
The Office of the Chief Servant extends gratitude to the Effutu Premix Committee for their leadership, collaboration, and dedication to the municipality’s well-being.
