The NDC leadership is being advised to focus on empowering businessmen and youth in the Ahafo Region
A National communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) *Mr Ishmael Adu Adjei* siad, this could involve initiatives such as, Providing training and resources for entrepreneurship and job creation, Supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through access to finance and markets, Developing programs to enhance youth skills and employability,Encouraging innovation and innovation hubs
Moreover, he added that by investing in the growth and development of businessmen and youth, the NDC leadership can help drive economic growth, create jobs, and build a more prosperous future for the region and Ghana as a whole.
Speaking in an interview on Ahafo Bechem based After2 Radio, he said the party, especially most Parliamentary Candidates in the region, suffered in raising fund to support their campaign during the 2024 general elections.
To break financial difficulties during the future elections, he has urged party leadership and appointees from the region to give the necessary attention to the youth by building them up for the future.
Mr Ishmael Adu Adjei asked leadership in the region not to think that the youth would be competing with them when built up but should consider the future of the party
He additionally said it is very sad that the financial strength of Ahafo NDC has been on the shoulders of two or three people, which is very bad and must be the concern of leadership to build more now that the party is in power.
