On Wednesday, 4th March,2026, Hon. Bernard Baidoo, Assembly Member for Ekon Estifi Electoral Area donates a brand new Television, Decoder and a dish to Ekon Health Center.
This is part of his commitment to improve health care in his community. The donation, according to the Hon. Assembly Member, forms part of his effort towards promoting quality health care.
This Television will help the nurses catch up oM medical training and patients enjoy some entertainment whiles waiting for treatment, "he said.
In his speech, He urged the people to bury their differences and focus on improving their lives and uniting to develop the community.
He again, advised the community to take their health seriously, make sure you do checkups on monthly basis to eliminate severe illness which leads to unforseen death.
Isaac Takyi Mensah, Senior Physician Assistant in Charge of Ekon Health Center who received the items, commended the Hon. Assembly Member for the kind gesture and promised to make good use of them.
He said, the Assembly Member had been helping the health sector in various ways to improve service, adding: " He has the welfare of the people at heart and should be seen as a father to all, one to be proud of."
Mr. Desmond Fredrick Eshun also know as " ROCKSTAR," One of the Unit Committee Member in an interview on behalf of the committee, thanked the Assembly Member and also urged the people to rally behind Hon. Bernard Baidoo to help him carry out his development agenda for the community
